Treats From Japan
Pocky, matcha KitKat, Hi-Chew, Calbee. Seasonal flavours that never make it onto a US shelf.
Not yet cleared
Japan is our next sourcing trip after the UK. The hard part is the seasonal range, since half the good stuff only exists for eight weeks.
We will email you the day these go on sale. No other mail, and one click to stop.

Where Japanese snacks come from
Japanese snacks are the one category where the interesting products are the ones that never leave Japan. KitKat alone runs dozens of regional and seasonal flavours, most of which are made for a few weeks and then gone. What reaches American shelves is a narrow, permanent slice of a range that changes constantly.
That is what makes a Japanese snack box worth buying rather than a shopping trip. Our aim is to build a box around what is actually in Japanese convenience stores that month, which means the contents change through the year rather than staying fixed.
We expect to cover the reliable favourites, so Pocky, Hi-Chew, Calbee crisps, Shiroi Koibito and matcha KitKat, alongside a rotating seasonal section. Sakura in spring, chestnut and sweet potato in autumn, and whatever the limited runs happen to be when we buy.
Japanese boxes will ship the same way everything else does, from within the US to addresses across the United States and Canada, with no customs form to complete and no duty owed on arrival. Join the list and we will tell you when the first shipment lands.

Questions about Japanese snack boxes
Will the Japanese box include seasonal flavours?
That is the main reason we are building it. A fixed box of permanent products is available in most large US cities. The seasonal and regional runs are not, so those will make up a large part of every box.
When does the Japanese snack box launch?
After our UK range. We are sourcing now and will email the list once we have a firm date.
